Research and Selection Both clients’ and candidates’ interests remain paramount – the emphasis is on quality and people, not numbers
Candidate Acquisition • MINDCOR searches for and finds exceptional candidates who are at the top of their field - “Top of Category”. Candidates are only introduced if there is a match in requirement and culture, as we recognise that successful placement is as much about technical fit as it is about chemistry.
• The evaluation method used to assess candidates (which the research team utilises, but is not bound by) is premised on Competency-Based Methodology, which is designed specifically for the evaluation and selection of the most appropriate candidate.
• MINDCOR consultants spend considerable time understanding the client’s business, culture, succession planning and the brief, including both technical and behavioral competencies to ensure a suitable match.
• An additional, essential service offered is risk management, to mitigate any potential threat to the client. When requested, the credentials of all short-listed candidates are thoroughly verified.
• MINDCOR often partners with organisations offering psychometric and other evaluation services. Using finetuned, recognised tests and techniques, the candidate’s competencies and characteristics are holistically assessed for IQ, emotional intelligence and business nous, measured against the client’s specific requirements.
Enabling Process • The above process is driven by a sense of urgency and the need to find the most appropriate skills in the shortest time possible.
• MINDCOR’s research team is supported by leading edge information technology. We have invested substantially in ensuring the seamless integration of MINDCOR’s website and the leading industry database, MindTracker®. This, combined with our extensive inhouse research capability and the team’s extensive personal network, provides the necessary market intelligence to ensure the ideal candidate is found.
• MINDCOR has the capacity to handle local and international assignments and has developed a strong network across the African continent.
